Our certifications

Salumificio Benvenuti adopts a production self-control program based on the HACCP system in compliance with Reg. CE n. 852 – 853/2004 and subsequent amendments and additions. It integrates the self-control program with the voluntary BRC (British Council Certification) and IFS (International Food Standard) certifications. As a partner and producer of the Consortium of Finocchiona I.G.P. it is also subject to the control of IFCQ on behalf of the Consortium itself. Finally, it is present in the AIC (Italian Celiac Association Spiga Barrata) Food Handbook, having a range of gluten-free cured meats.

Certificazione Global Standard for Food Safety

Salumificio Benvenuti S.r.l. has obtained the renewal of the
BRC British Retail certification for the Anglo-Saxon world
Council for Global Standard for Food Safety on 2 May 2022 with the maximum evaluation and deadline on 22 June 2023.
An important recognition of the modern production structure and the respect of the most advanced procedures in the production of cured meats.

Certificazione International Food Standard

Salumificio Benvenuti S.r.l. has obtained the renewal of the
certification for the countries of Northern Europe IFS International
Food Standard on May 12, 2021 with the maximum valuation and deadline on June 27, 2022.
An important recognition of the modern production structure and of the respect of the most advanced procedures in the production of
cured meat.
